Caring for Altar linens is a behind-the-scenes ministry shared by different ministers who alternate on a regular basis. Altar cloths used during Mass and during Communion Calls to the Homebound are taken home, prepared for laundering, laundered, ironed, then returned to the sacristy for future use.
