- Purpose:
To lead the people of the parish in prayer and worship
through the singing of hymns and psalms.
- Responsibilities:
To sing at alternating Sunday liturgies (9am or 11am)
Triduum liturgies, Christmas Eve Mass and special liturgies
(occasional).
- Gifts
to Share: Love of music, love to sing and be able
to readily sight read music and sing parts (soprano, alto,
tenor, and bass).
- Commitment:
1.5 hours weekly-2 hours weekly during Holy Week and
Christmas. 1.75 hours minimum on Sunday. Choir
sings regularly September through May.

- Purpose:
Provide music for all funeral masses held at Holy Family
Parish.
- Responsibilities:
To attend practices necessary and be prepared upon
receipt of call for parish funeral.
- Gifts
to Share: Love of music, love to sing and be able
to readily sight read music and sing parts (soprano, alto,
tenor and bass).
- Commitment:
3 one hour rehearsals in September and 45 minutes before
each funeral.

- Saturday
Evening Ensemble

- Associate Director of Music...................Aline

- Purpose:
To provide music for the Saturday evening liturgies to
facilitate prayer, worship and enhance the liturgy.
- Responsibilities:
To practice weekly and attend the Saturday evening liturgy.
- Gifts
to Share: Enjoyment of singing. Ability to
read music helpful, but not required. Possible
utilization of instrumentalists.
- Commitment:
1.5 hour rehearsal on Tuesday evenings; 1 hour rehearsal on
Saturday evening at 4:00 pm plus length of 5:00 pm Mass.

- Purpose:
Provide music to enhance various liturgies throughout the
year.
- Responsibilities:
Provide avenue to educate young people in liturgy; role of
the choir cantor and musicians, as well as, educate in
regards to different types of music appropriate in
liturgy. Also teach traditions as related to our
Catholic roots.
- Gifts
to Share: Enjoy singing.
- Commitment:
1 hour weekly approximately 3-4 weeks prior to singing at
liturgy. Each choir sings and practices as scheduled
between October through May.
