     Purpose:  Lectors proclaim the Word of God during Mass.  Commentators lead General Intercessions and read announcements.

     Responsibilities:  Proclaim biblical readings alternating with role of Commentator leading General Intercessions and reading announcements.

     Gifts to Share:  Strong public speaking voice, love for God's Word.

     Commitment:  Training and yearly retreat.  Preparation during preceding scheduled week to be able to proclaim the readings  Arrive minimum of 15 minutes before Mass.  Approximately twice a month, once as Lector and once as Commentator.
