Sacred Art & Environment

Chairpersons.......................

Purpose:  This ministry is responsible for creating the appropriate worship environment for our parish liturgical celebrations.  The goal is to make our church inviting, beautiful and liturgically meaningful.
Responsibilities:  We help plan and design the decoration for every season including Lent, Easter, Advent and Christmas, as well as Ordinary Time and other special events.  We work closely with the Liturgy Committee to help enhance our worship experience.
Gifts to Share:  Enjoyment of interior design, building/woodworking, sewing, floral design or an art background can be useful, but not necessary.
Commitment:  Average of 2 to 3 hours monthly with more time spent during Advent/Christmas and Lent/Easter seasons.  Planning meetings scheduled every 2 to 3 months.  Many members and/or volunteers are needed to execute the ideas that have been planned.
