Little Rock Scripture Study

Purpose:  To provide adults the opportunity to grow in their faith and their knowledge of God through group study of the Scriptures in a safe and non-threatening environment.
     Responsibilities:
Core Team Members meet annually to discern studies for the year and to plan the schedule and promotional activities to successfully kick-off the year.  Other special purpose meetings may be held, but are very unusual.
Small Group Leaders facilitate the group's discussion, keep activities on schedule including starting and ending on time, and perform other minor activities to keep the group's experience comfortable and focused such as organizing refreshments.
Participants do homework during the week at a time of their convenience and share their insights and questions during the session; although no one is forced in any way to share with the group.
Gifts to Share:  Desire to grow in faith and knowledge of God through a better understanding of the Scriptures.  No minimum of Scripture knowledge is required to participate.
Commitment:  Approximately 1.5 hours plus homework time during the week, from October through April.  Sessions meet on Tuesday morning, Tuesday evening or Wednesday evening.
