Clown Ministry

 

Clown Ministry Chair........................Patty Robinson

 

     Purpose:  Sharing the Joy of the Lord through laughter.

     Responsibilities:  Visit those in nursing homes and hospice care facilities, as well as participate at parish activities and parades.

     Gifts to Share:  A selflessness of giving from the heart and the ability to brighten someone's day with a smile.

     Commitment:  At least one year.  There are several training sessions that involve learning clown make-up application, costuming, and responsibilities for nursing home visits.  Parental involvement is also a requirement.  Adults must be screened and attend a  "Protecting God's Children" Awareness session and have a Criminal Background Check.
