     Purpose:  To provide an outstanding opportunity to live out Christ's greater commandment to love your neighbor by caring for the poor, hungry, sick, homeless and others in need.  Our objective is to assist those in need as they take responsibility to improve their life situation in order to "break the hellish cycle of poverty."
     Responsibilities:  Food Pantry, Christmas Giving Tree, Social Justice Committee, Project Linus, Holy Family Life Committee, Food Truck, Prison/Jail Ministry, and Health Ministry.
     Gifts to Share:  Desire to help people in need.
     Commitment:  Amount of time a person chooses to volunteer.
 
Blood Pressure Screening-Provide blood pressure checks and document reading for the person to keep.
Food Pantry-Access 6 sponsored food pantry for Kent County residents.  Donations of food come from parishioners or purchased from suppliers.
Food Truck-Locates at Holy Family on Saturday morning every two months.
Giving Tree-Parish outreach to needy children at Christmas.
Life Committee-Volunteers work on Respect Life issues.
Prison/Jail Ministry-Volunteers conduct Catholic Bible Study, etc.
Project Linus-Volunteers knit/crochet blankets, etc.
Social Justice-Volunteers work on legislative issues.
