High School - Rising Mass
gr. 9-12

**First Saturday of the month at 5 PM**
Oct 2, Nov 5, Dec 3, Jan 7, Feb 4, Mar 3, May 5

This mass will focus on the needs and interest of the youth, but not exclusive of adults and children.  The vision for this mass is to reach any and all who care to participate in this once a month Saturday evening mass.

The specific elements of this mass will include the following:
Gathering time to prepare for the mass by using prelude music and warm welcoming.
The music will be lead and prepared by the “On FIRE” praise band which has led the high school youth in praise and worship and will select music that the youth can connect with, respond to and participate in (want to make a song request?).
The homiletic message will have an emphasis on the Word and help the youth connect it to their daily lives.
The liturgical ministers will be trained and commissioned youth.
The mass will have a focusing object that will help the youth visualize the theme.

Who is this mass for?  EVERYONE!  If you love music, high energy, and praising the Lord, then this is the mass for you!  The Rising will be on the first Saturday of the month throughout the year.

Interested in participating or volunteering for this mass?
There are many opportunities for participating or helping out with The Rising Mass. There are liturgical ministries, such as lectoring or being a eucharistic minister, music ministry or hospitality ministry. Some ministries have training dates or practice times, so email
Stefanie to let her know you are interested and she'll get back to you!
