Dear Parents,
It’s time to register for another year of our parish’s Faith Formation and Youth Ministry programs.  If you’re new to the parish, a warm welcome to you.  Hopefully you’ll find all the information you need to get involved in our Faith Formation and Youth Ministry programs.
We try to offer a variety of times, days and formats in order to meet the diverse needs, schedules, and interests of our children, young people and families.  Please read about our program offerings on the pages in the packet (see contents on the front page) or on this website, make your decisions, and then turn in your registration form as soon as you can — the earlier the better because of program demands on people and space resources (first come - first serve).
We look forward to serving your faith formation and youth ministry needs this year.  If you have any questions, please don’t hesitate to contact us.

Serving Joyfully,
Chris Shafer
Director of Catholic Faith Formation
Please be assured....
that all of our CFF catechists are certified by the Diocese of Grand Rapids.  The minimum requirement for certification is 8 hours of training; some of our catechists have over 50 hours!

that we provide a safe environment for our participants by adhering to the U.S. Bishop’s and Diocese of Grand Rapid’s “Charter for the Protection of Children and Youth”, which requires screening of all CFF volunteers and parish employees through a criminal background check and placement interview, by requiring their completion of “Protecting God’s Children” awareness training, and adherence to a Ministerial Code of Conduct.  We also require a minimum of 2 adults be present in our programs..

that we provide training and formation for our volunteers throughout the year so that our program is providing participants with well-formed and trained catechists, aides, helpers and leaders.

that our programs provide formation in the Roman Catholic Christian faith.

that your feedback and input is always welcome, as well as your visit & participation in classrooms and events.
